Project SMART presented in Parcines (BZ)
01 April 2022The Interreg project SMART promotes the culture of accessibility for all. With the Peter Mitterhofer Typewriter Museum in Parcines, independent L. has found a pilot museum for the cross-border project in South Tyrol, which, under his coordination, has implemented innovative measures (virtual reality, augmented reality, virtual tour, web accessibility) for a truly barrier-free cultural experience on site.

The Interreg SMART project promotes innovation, inclusivity and accessibility for all in the cultural sector. As the South Tyrolean competence centre in this field, we at independent L. found an adequate pilot museum for the cross-border project in South Tyrol in the Peter Mitterhofer Typewriter Museum in Parcines, where we implemented various measures (virtual reality, augmented reality, virtual tour, web accessibility) for a truly barrier-free cultural experience through the use of innovative technologies. -
SMART - Training for museum employees
03 December 2021In the course of ITAT2049|SMART - Small Museums Alliance Representing Territories, the team of "South Tyrol for All" has recently held two specific training sessions for the museum staff of the project partners on the use and management of the web platform for the joint museum tour www.smart-museums.eu in German (on 24.11.2021) and Italian (on 25.11.2021).

Virtual tour
12 November 2021During the spring and summer seasons, the partner in the SMART project “independent L.” cooperative created the virtual tours for the four pilot sites involved, i.e. the Peter Mitterhofer Typewriter Museum, the Schloss Ritzen Museum, the Val Resia Ecomuseum and the MUMAT Museum of Textile Machinery.

A great success for the Silent Play restitution events!
05 October 2021From June to September 2021, the events of restitution of the Silent Play itineraries took place in the municipalities involved in the SMART project, Valdagno, Saalfelden and Resia. The purpose of these events was to share with the local community the first drafts of the three Silent Play itineraries.

The community workshops in Resia are concluded
22 July 2021On July 16 and 17, 2021, the third and last community workshop was held in Resia, organized as part of the SMART project and led by Carlo Presotto and Paola Rossi. The workshop was held at the visitor center "La Tana", in Lischiazze and was dedicated to the recording of a series of interviews with members of the local community, regarding themes and contents that emerged in the previous meetings.

Second community workshop in Resia
08 June 2021On 6 June 2021 the second community workshop was held in Resia, organised within the project SMART - Small Alliance Representing Territories and led by Carlo Presotto and Paola Rossi of the project partner La Piccionaia, with the collaboration of LIS interpreter Sara Facchinutti.
