5. Continuous ring spinning frame
The machine has the function of stretching the roving, twisting and winding the yarn on a bobbin. The roving, fed from above, is refined by means of a drafting action carried out in two zones: in the upper zone the fibres are controlled by means of a "false twist" action generated by a rotating spool, while in the lower zone the control is of the elastic clamping type in a curvilinear field, with an upper strap. The yarn is then twisted and twisted by means of the spindle-ring combination.
The spindle is of the "spinning head" type, which eliminates the spinning "ballon", reducing the tanning tension.
The yarn is distributed on the bobbin or spool by means of an alternating vertical movement of the bobbin-holder, which creates a layer of criss-crossed spools, and a progressive lifting movement, again of the bobbin-holder, which superimposes the layers and forms the body of the bobbin.
